Experience the transformative power of yoga, Reiki, Feng Shui and nature all in one revitalizing weekend! Join the Yoga Director for The Holistic Home Company, Lauren Paasch, and Feng Shui Expert and author Laura Benko for a restorative upstate weekend get-a-away of personalized yoga classes, guided meditations, nature walks, a healing, intuitive Reiki session and a one-on-one Feng Shui Consultation. This weekend is thoughtfully cultivated to foster deeper shifts, body positivity, aha moments, feel good vibes and to form meaningful friendships.

PROGRAM

This is a weekend retreat meant to heal, restore and make connections between mind, body, spirit and space as you address all aspects of your wellness in an intimate woodsy setting in the country.

Experience yoga and meditation classes with Lauren Paasch that are specifically geared towards your needs and skill level. Receive a healing, intuitive Reiki session by renown Reiki Master and Teacher, Christine Bailey. Feng Shui Expert Laura Benko will give you a one-on-one analysis of your floor plan.

We are keeping the group small in order for sessions to be personalized and to foster an intimate environment with personalized attention.

FOOD

Enjoy delicious meals made with organic and locally grown ingredients prepared by a gourmet chef. Each morning will begin with fresh pressed juices, The Holistic Home Company Herbal Adaptogens in our Reiki Charged Teas or coffee. The wild flower honey comes right from the property. You will be asked to complete a food allergy/preference survey beforehand so we can customize the menu.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The private house is located in East Chatham, NY in a woodsy countryside, 2.5 hours north from NYC. 45 minutes south from Albany, NY Airport. You have a choice of either sharing a room (your own queen size bed) or your own private room. Bathrooms are right outside your door.

RETREAT INTENTION

MIND: From meditation classes that will center you to guided journaling for self discovery, to walks in nature to ground you, stress will lessen and your thinking will be clearer.

BODY : Your body will feel alive and rejuvenated from consecutive yoga classes where heart centered, breath work and restorative asanas challenge and restore you. Healthy food, vibrating with good chi and made with love will nourish your body and feed your soul.

SPIRIT: An intuitive healing reiki session will put you in a state of deep relaxation. Your chakras will be balanced, “issues in the tissues” will be released and you will be filled with positive emotions, thinking and patterns.

SPACE: You will never look at your own space and self in the same way again. Your one-on-one feng shui consultation will help you make the connections between your challenges in life and how they are physically manifesting in your space.

This four day retreat and certification seminar will be packed with Holistic Feng Shui information, several expert speakers, activities, delicious meals and comfortable, upscale lodging. You’ll be able to integrate this education into your current occupation or start a new career as a Feng Shui consultant. There are many ways in which this course will be unique, and it really will be because of you. The curriculum is listed below, but after you complete a questionnaire and speak with a course instructor, lectures will be added or adjusted according to your specific needs, interests or what is intuitively felt to have the biggest impact for you.

WHERE

The location is upstate New York in the pastoral town of Old Chatham, which is on the northern edge of the Hudson River Valley, two and a half hours drive north from New York City or a 40 minute drive south from Albany. The retreat house itself is situated on twenty two acres of stunning, expansive views and has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our small, intimate group.

This is the Retreat House. It sits on twenty seven pastoral acres on top of hill. The sunset views are spectacular!

FOOD

All food will mainly be sourced from local farms, (mostly) organic, delicious meals based on the food preference questionnaire each student will provide beforehand. Whether you are vegan, Paleo, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Keto or other, you will have an ample selection of food to enjoy. Snacks, fresh fruit, tea and water will always be on hand. Each morning will begin with a fresh pressed juice, coffee, herbal teas and an array of breakfast fare such as breakfast burritos, frittatas, home made granola, warm scones or breakfast sandwiches along with fresh fruit. Typical lunches range from vegetarian lasagna, artisanal sandwiches, soups and delicious salads. Dinners might be cold poached salmon with cous cous, wood fire baked pizza, flank steak with corn, etc.

COURSE WORK

This will be an Intensive Workshop with rigorous Feng Shui information given, based on the book The Holistic Home: Feng Shui for Mind Body Spirit Space. This book has recently won the Gold from the Independent Publishers Book Awards and is also the foundation for two AIA credited courses at Pratt, making it the only Feng Shui program in the country that shares its program content with an institution on this academic level. In addition, this retreat and certification will go beyond this foundation, by bringing in guest lecturers who are renown in various modalities of Mind, Body, Spirit and Space. To make it even more special, as each attendee signs up, they will be given a survey to complete and their responses and areas of interest will adjust the curriculum. The intention is to hone in on providing areas of specific interest – whether that is a favorite topic you’d like to delve into more, a subject that you’ve struggled with or what the course instructors intuitively feel you might personally benefit from.

BASIC ITINERARY

Check in is between 3-4pm on Sunday at the Retreat House. All guests coming into Hudson train station or Albany airport can be picked up if needed and will driven to the retreat house. After getting settled in, an introduction mixer followed by a welcome meal and a course overview will occur. Each day, there will be daily activities offered, such as yoga, meditation, guided hikes or a hayride through the countryside. Some of the group activities will be weather permitting (and might change depending upon the groups preference if there are shared requests.)

Each day will begin with a breakfast of fresh pressed juices, coffee, herbal teas and local, homemade fare. Lunch and dinner times will be determined according to the flow of the day. On the final day, after breakfast and packing up, the group will be transported to an off-site location for a hands on consultation, followed by a luncheon and certification ceremony. Departure, anytime from 3pm on.

CURRICULUM

All of these topics will include ways to incorporate a fresh, modern perspective that is all inclusive of your own mind, body, spirit and space, as well as how to see that for your client. An expert on Electrical Magnetic Fields will provide a one hour lecture, enabling you to assess levels of EMF’s and be able to make recommendations accordingly.

Enhancing the Chi of your Space, Creating Sacred Spaces, Residual Energy, Aromatherapy To Enhance Goals, Effective Rituals, How to Enhance Your Intuition and Use it Effectively in your Consultations and Pets & Feng Shui. A space clearing expert will speak about how to Energetically Tune In and Clear a Space. A guest speaker who is a renown psychic medium will give tips on how to effectively enhance your own intuition.

COSTS
