What do I need to prepare before a Consultation?
At least one week before the consultation, I will need a HAND DRAWN floor plan and a biography about what is currently going on in your life. The floor plan must be hand drawn because that begins the energetic process of your relationship of self-to-space and it is a significant element for assessment. I intuitively read your floor plan which reveals so much to me before your consultation even begins. It should clearly show entranceways, placement of major pieces of furniture (bed, desk, stove etc.) and where the doors are located.
The biography (1 -2 pages) should describe what is currently going on in your life and your reasons for requesting a consultation at this time. Include any issues concerning your health, relationships, finances, career or family. All information is honored and kept confidential.
What should I expect during the Consultation?
First, we will sit down and talk about the basics of feng shui, your specific needs for wanting a consultation and the goals you would like to achieve. We will need uninterrupted time for your entire consultation.
Next, we will walk from the front entrance on in, exploring the seen and unseen ways of your physical surroundings, discussing the strengths and weaknesses and how to adjust them. Most people usually take notes at this time.
How long does a Consultation take?
The length of the consultation depends upon the size of the space and the amount of issues that need to be addressed. Most consultations are usually a minimum of two hours in person, however, Facetime or phone consultations are one hour. Depending on the scope and complexity of the space, more than one visit may be necessary but that is not usual. E-mail follow up inquiries are included if needed for one month after the consultation.
When is the right time to have a Feng Shui consultation?
Beneficial times for a consultation are when you are feeling stagnant, or conversely, going through a major transformation such as moving, illness, marriage, divorce or new career. However, the “right time” is when you intuitively feel you are ready for a change.
What are your fees?
$400 per hour. Cash, Venmo and check are accepted and payment should be received at the end of the consultation. Any travel over one hour is $100 per hour.
